Biographical Sketch: BIOLOGICAL SKETCH: Dr Khor obtained his MBBS from University of Malaya in 1996 and Masters of Internal Medicine from the same University in 2004. He further pursued his interest in Gastroenterology & Endoscopy in 2005 and obtained his Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia in 2008. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Dr.Khor is a caring and an experienced Physician. Previously attached to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang as the Head of Gastroenterology Unit, Dr. Khor was also a trainer in the field of Gastroenterology for the Ministry of Health. Specialty Interests: Dr. Khor is the accredited Consultant Physician & Gastroenterologist by the National Specialist Register. Dr. Khor is highly skilled to handle diagnostic & therapeutic upper & lower endoscopic procedures (OGDS and Colonoscopy) such as haemostasis of Gastrointestinal bleeding, endoscopic stenting & dilatation, polypectomies & Endoscopic mucosal resection. Apart from therapeutic OGDS and colonoscopy, he also performs - Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), - Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) tube insertions, - Capsule endoscopy and - Manometry & pH studies. He also has vast experience in managing General medical and liver cases. His other area of interest includes research which he has published and presented extensively in the field of Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine. |
